“Serve First Those Who Suffer Most”
As for
ourselves, we must be meek, bear injustice, malice and rash judgment.
We must
turn the other cheek, give up our cloak, go a second mile.

Spring Appeal
Dear Friends,
The bridge that crosses Whisky Spring divides our pasture, one side a clearing, one side woods. On the wooded side live the wild turkeys, 26 of them who come to eat what our goats and horses have left. The coyotes also live there and danger comes with them for any of our animals. We lost the Prince of Goats –Zeus ; regal and humble with his herd and polite with his farmers. He was across the bridge and the coyotes were too much. We await a new generation of his kid goats to be born this June.
Forty years have passed since H.O.M.E. opened its doors to the sale of crafts to improve income. Education followed, Craft Shops, Pottery, Weaving, Woodworking, Stitchery, Stained Glass and Leather, shelters and houses, Sawmill, Shingle Mill, Soup Kitchen, Food Bank, Auto Repair, Flea Markets, Christmas Wreaths and collectibles for sale. We try to earn as much of our needed money as possible. Our earned income, we call it here at H.O.M.E. Emmaus.
Whether prince or pauper, minister or homeless, we get up and we work together in the morning.
Working together with you, our supporters over forty years some miracles have happened for human beings who have been left out of our society, our state, and our families. We ask you please to continue your support as our tasks grow larger and our resources smaller.
God Bless You,
Your Sister
